The Bright Light Social Hour, on the road promoting their latest strong release "Space Is Still The Place", took to the BB stage the night before Halloween in one piece bathing suits as the "Baywatch Social Club" & put on a hell of a show for an adoring crowd of costumed fans. Based out of Austin, Texas, their psychedelic southern rock sound has an originality and authenticity that explores new terrain and sounds like no one else. One minute they'll be roaring with soaring guitar reminiscent of Floyd in Pompeii. The next they'll cook up a groove that gets your head knocking and makes you want to cut a rug. The four members,
Jack O'Brien, Curtis Roush, Edward Braillif, & Joseph Mirasole, are clearly a tight and talented unit. It showed at Bowery Ballroom.
